Round 1 of the Buckmore Park Summer Series got underway today with some good close racing and sunshine for a change !!

The new season got underway with a few extra classes which hopefully bodes well for the future. Some good racing but some of the grids were quite small.

This weekend HOTTRAX took over the Indy Circuit for a series of races including a 3 hour endurance race in the changeable conditions.

The track racing season has finally got under way with the first meeting of the year for Bemsee on the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit.
Went down to Goodwood for the first visit this year. Due to a time extension to 1830 being given a couple of stages were run in the dark for a change.
Spent a very enjoyable day looking around the Brooklands Museum. Unfortunately I missed seeing the Napier Railton by the time it takes to drink a cup of coffee as it has been taken away for some restoration work (oh well maybe next time!). So this is as close as I got.
The Chelmsford Motor Club held a Rally Stage at Brands Hatch today for the first time in 20 years and although it wasn’t advertised on the MSV website it was well attended.
It was a bit strange to see cars going the wrong way round the Indy Circuit but that feeling didn’t last long and it turned out to be a cold but enjoyable day’s motorsport.
